While Sugar has been open for a few weeks now, they had a kickoff party to celebrate with their Portland neighbors on Saturday, October 17. The bakery and café offer affordable sweet treats such as cinnamon rolls and cookies, coffee and tea, and savory sandwiches featuring homemade biscuits and pimento cheese along with ham, sausage and turkey options. Sugar is located at 2565 Bank Street and is open Friday and Saturday from 9am to 4pm and Sundays from 9am to 2pm.
