February Events and Holiday Recap with Neighborhood House

Looking Back on the Holidays

This holiday season was packed with fun activities at Neighborhood House. Child Development Center staff and members participated in a spirit week where they dressed in festive colors, went caroling around the building, and even met Santa! All of our Child Development Center kids also received presents from St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church!

Neighborhood House received a special delivery–a colorfully lit fire truck from the Fern Creek Fire Department. Neighborhood House senior members and their families came together for their annual senior holiday party. Senior members came dressed in their most festive attire, played BINGO, won prizes, and enjoyed a home cooked meal with each other. 1st grade students from the St. Patrick’s Catholic School also brought in personalized presents for each of our senior members.

Connecting Through Music

Join Neighborhood House for a free concert by the Louisville Orchestra on Friday, February 28th. The concert will be held at Neighborhood House and begin at 7:30PM. This concert is a part of the orchestra’s “Music Without Borders” series and will explore stories from different cultures, traditions, myths, and legends led by conductor Gabriel Lefkowitz.

Kicking Off the New Year
