Portland’s Wild West!

In a little town, where horses are replaced with mechanical steeds, often made and modified by its owner; the people have never left their heritage.

The wild west is still alive, where every local inhabitant owns a gun of some caliber, and plenty of bullets to spare for the annual fourth of July, and the new year’s riotous display of independence.

The people appear to be uniquely indigenous with their own tribal face and neck tattoos, and a blatant rejection of modernism, be-it technology, keeping up with the jones, or any form of fear mongering and ego.

And though every corner has an ancient stone vacant building once known long ago as the church; you will find the people are happy, open hearted, and open minded to anyone willing and brave enough to dwell amongst the inhabitants.

A place of fast cops, and where the saloons are the place of community gatherings. Of course you can go to any corner store, with the men standing guard and the talking with friends about old times.

Doors are happily unlocked, the children play from house to house, and people who have never met, are willing to help one another, even if both parties are in need.

Yes the wild has not left the wild west of Kentucky, but if you are looking for the most open-non religious people, then look no further, because the gold is walking all around.

PORTLAND LOVE
Have a lovely day. Michael
