They say what is old is bound to become new again, and we’re lucky in our 50th year to find some new life thanks to the young people of the Portland Youth League 8U who this season will compete under the name “The Portland Anchors.” Alongside such a neighborhood-appropriate title the team is being sponsored this fall by some of Portland’s favorite local businesses including Cravens, The Wright Place, Shaheens, and Nic Transport.
